Background
Locate A Repair set out to be the place people go to find a trusted repair provider near them, with repair businesses paying to be listed. That takes more than a website: it needs vendor accounts, paid subscriptions, a searchable map, and an app. Jason Renz brought the vision to OgreLogic to build.
What we built
OgreLogic built the full platform:
- A custom marketplace where customers search by location and find vendors on a Google Map with directions.
- A paid vendor-subscription system with multiple plans, upgrades, and expiry logic, plus an admin dashboard to manage listings.
- User registration, email and SMS notifications, and a companion iOS app using the Google Maps SDK.
It was a technically demanding build — subscription and payment logic, map data, and messaging all had to work together — and the team worked through every obstacle to get there.
The result
Locate A Repair went live as a working marketplace with paying vendors and hundreds of registered users, backed by ongoing support. Jason praised the team for having "an answer for all of our various obstacles" in his five-star review.
