Background
Physician loans solve a specific problem: medical professionals often have high earning potential, large student loans, and a new job that has not started yet. Programs built for them can offer features such as zero down payment, no private mortgage insurance, and approval based on an employment offer letter. Loan officer Casey Murray in Minnesota, together with a colleague licensed in California, wanted a dedicated site to reach those borrowers.
The challenge: compliance comes first
Mortgage advertising is regulated, and NEXA Mortgage sets detailed requirements for every loan officer's website: the NEXA name and logo, an NMLS number beside each loan officer's name, a link to NMLS Consumer Access, Equal Housing logos, and state-specific notices. The wording is restricted too, so the site and its keywords avoid superlatives and guarantees such as "best," "lowest rate," or "guaranteed."
What we built
- A complete physician loan site on WordPress and Elementor: how it works, program features, who qualifies, an FAQ, testimonials, and consultation booking.
- A mortgage calculator, so visitors can estimate a payment before they talk to anyone.
- State landing pages for Minnesota and California, one for each loan officer's licensed state, each carrying the required disclosures.
- A keyword plan the client approved: program terms, borrower types such as residents, fellows, dentists, and veterinarians, features such as no PMI and offer-letter approval, and city terms in both states.
- FAQ content written for the questions physicians actually ask, including in AI search, such as whether a resident can buy a home with an offer letter.
Google Ads
OgreLogic also runs the Google Ads campaigns that send physicians searching for these loans to the right state page. The account is managed as an ongoing service, with spend handled carefully on the client's behalf.
Ash & OgreLogic have been great to work with. They built a website for me and it's amazing. I also pay [them] to manage my Google AdWords. Ash has been a very good steward of our funds and I would definitely recommend him and OgreLogic.
