Background
Tangela Thornton founded The UP House to give vulnerable young women a path forward: a 24-month program that pairs each resident with a coach across housing, education, job readiness, financial literacy, and more. The organization needed a website that conveyed the seriousness of that mission, told its story with warmth, and made it easy for supporters to donate and get involved.
What we built
OgreLogic designed and developed the full WordPress site for The UP House:
- A complete multi-page site: About, How We Can Help, Board of Directors, Partner With Us, Testimonials, Volunteer, and Contact.
- Online donations integrated with the organization's PayPal, plus a volunteer sign-up.
- An animated, color-changing brand element and an Instagram feed, giving the site the movement and life Tangela wanted.
- Video testimonials from program graduates, front and center.
Design to launch moved fast: Tangela approved the design as "perfect" within about three weeks, and the team shipped same-day fixes to have donations working ahead of a live fundraising event.
“A special shoutout to Ogrelogic! Mr. Sharma and Ash did a phenomenal job on my website, and it looks professional, modern, and truly captures my vision with great flow, movement, and design. It was a pleasure working with you. Your quick responses, even at odd hours, and strong attention to detail made the entire process smooth and stress-free. Thank you for delivering a website that feels truly top-tier and high quality!”
The result
The UP House went live with a professional, modern site that captures its mission and gives supporters an easy way to donate and volunteer. Tangela recorded a video sharing her experience of the build.
